1. Adult Members Joining Virgin Active in August 2026

Adult members who join Virgin Active between 1 August 2026 and 31 August 2026, both dates included, on an eligible 12-month or 24-month membership may choose to benefit from one of the applicable August 2026 new joiner campaigns, subject to the qualifying criteria and exclusions set out below.

A member may not select more than one new joiner campaign benefit. Campaign benefits may not be combined unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions.

1.2 Public Campaign: Unlock Premier

This allows new joiners to pay the applicable club rate, whilst getting access to surrounding Virgin Active clubs (excluding Red, Collection and Collection Country Club).

1.6 Public: Virgin Active Padel Wallet Offer

Join Virgin Active between 1 August 2026 and 31 August 2026, both dates included, on an eligible 12-month or 24-month membership and choose the Virgin Active Padel Wallet Offer as your August new joiner campaign benefit.

Eligible members who select this offer will receive a Playtomic Wallet credit equal to:

The value of the member's first month's Virgin Active membership fee, plus an additional 20%.

The Playtomic Wallet credit may be used for bookings at any Virgin Active Padel club, regardless of the Virgin Active club or membership type the member joined on.

Eligible members will also continue to receive the usual 20% discount on Virgin Active Padel bookings, provided that their Playtomic account and Virgin Active membership are correctly set up, linked, active and in good standing, and provided that all other eligibility requirements are met.

1.8 Public Refurb Club Offer

Join Virgin Active between 1 August and 31 August 2026 on an eligible 12- or 24-month membership and receive an instant Premier access upgrade until 31 December 2026.

Refurb clubs will have a membership fee increase when the club reopens after refurbishment. New members who join in August will receive this refurb-related increase in line with existing members; however, they will not receive a further January 2027 increase.

Qualifying Criteria

• Available at the following clubs that are under-going refurb in August: Wembley Square, Century City, Cascades, Westville

2. Discovery Vitality Premier Membership Campaign

• Reduced activation fee: R799 or less depending on club.
• Up to 50% off monthly membership fees for principal members.
• Up to 50% off monthly membership fees for adult dependents and Club-V / Club-V Max.
• August on Us, meaning no August pro-rata fees.

Plus, when an adult or adult dependent joins a Virgin Active Premier Membership in August, they 

may choose one of the following:

3. Momentum Multiply Premier Membership Campaign

Momentum Multiply Inspire or Engage members with a Health Heart Score qualify for the 10% gym discount at Virgin Active.

Momentum Inspire Plus or Engage Plus members with a Health Heart Score who complete a health and fitness assessment, either in person or on the Multiply App, can combine their scores to determine their Rewards Level. The Reward Level achieved determines the discount that will be applied to Virgin Active membership.

Gym Benefit Discounts

• Level 1 = 10% discount.
• Level 2 = 25% discount.
• Level 3 = 30% discount.
• Level 4 = 40% discount.
• Level 5 = 50% discount.

4. HYROX PT Pack / PT Starter Pack Redemption Process

• Sales Loads Member: The Sales Consultant adds the HYROX PT Pack or PT Starter Pack as the promotion.
• Member Joins the App: The member downloads the Virgin Active App and creates their profile.
• Member Finds Voucher in Rewards Section of App: The voucher appears automatically under Rewards.
• Member Copies the Voucher Code: Unique code example: HYROX-3PK-FREE2026.
• Reminder: The member must redeem their voucher in the App by no later than 20 September 2026.
• Member Selects: PT & 3-Pack. The member browses experts / Personal Trainers, chooses trainers and package.
• Member Applies Code at Checkout: The member enters the code and the total becomes R0.
• PT Gets Notified: The Personal Trainer receives a purchase alert within the app.
• PT Contacts Member: The Personal Trainer contacts the member within 24 hours to book the first session.

Key Conditions

• Redemption Window: The voucher must be redeemed, meaning applied at checkout, by no later than 20 September 2026.
• Session Completion: All 3 sessions must be completed within 90 calendar days of redemption. No extensions.
• No other packages qualify.
• New Members Only: New members joining on the Public Offer in August cannot choose both the PT Package offer and the Rewards Offer. They must choose either one or the other.
• Members joining on the Public Offer may apply this promotion to any Public Club or Premier Membership Type.
• Members joining Virgin Active with their Vitality or Momentum Multiply benefit only qualify for the PT Package offer if they have selected to join on a Vitality Premier or Momentum Multiply Premier Membership Type.
• Existing members are not eligible.
• PT Assignment: Virgin Active assigns a Personal Trainer based on demand and capacity. Member selection is not guaranteed.
• No-Show Policy: Sessions must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. No-shows without 12 hours notice count as completed.
• Active Membership: The member must maintain an active membership in good standing to continue taking advantage of their PT Pack. Cancellation means sessions are forfeited.
• Non-Transferable: Single use, linked to the member profile. Cannot be shared, resold or combined with other offers.
• Audit Rights: Virgin Active may conduct spot-check audits. Fraudulent claims may result in disciplinary action.

5. Playtomic Redemption Process

Playtomic Wallet Allocation Process

Virgin Active will provide Virgin Active Padel with a list of eligible new members who joined during August 2026 and who have kept their account in good standing.

This list will be provided to Virgin Active Padel by 12 September 2026.

Virgin Active Padel will attempt to match the eligible member's Virgin Active details to their Playtomic account. Where the member's Playtomic account is correctly set up and successfully matched, Virgin Active Padel will load the applicable wallet credit to the member's Playtomic Wallet by the 15^th of September 2026.

Members Who Have Not Set Up Their Playtomic Account

Where an eligible member appears on the eligible member list but has not yet set up their Playtomic account, the member will have until 15 October 2026 to claim their wallet amount.

Virgin Active Padel will continue to attempt to match eligible members and load wallet credits as Playtomic accounts are correctly set up.

Any unclaimed Playtomic Wallet allocation after 15 October 2026 will expire.

Wallet Use

The Playtomic Wallet credit:

• May be used at any Virgin Active Padel club.
• Is subject to Virgin Active Padel booking availability.
• Is subject to the standard Virgin Active Padel and Playtomic booking terms and conditions.
• Is not transferable.
• May not be exchanged for cash.
• May not be refunded.
• May not be used with another new joiner campaign benefit unless expressly stated.
• May be withheld, reversed or declined where there is abuse, fraud, cancellation, failed debit order or ineligibility.

Padel Booking Discount

Eligible Virgin Active members may also receive the usual 20% discount on Virgin Active Padel bookings, provided that:

• Their Virgin Active membership is active and in good standing.
• Their Playtomic account is correctly set up.
• Their Virgin Active membership and Playtomic account are correctly linked.
• They meet all other eligibility requirements for the Virgin Active Padel discount.
• The 20% Virgin Active Padel booking discount is separate from the Playtomic Wallet credit and remains subject to the standard Virgin Active Padel booking discount terms.

Member Queries

For queries about eligibility, Virgin Active will check the member's eligibility by confirming the relevant notes on iTensity.

Where the member is eligible and requires assistance with the Playtomic Wallet allocation, Virgin Active may confirm with Virgin Active Padel to assist with loading or correcting the wallet details.

Where members require assistance setting up their Playtomic app or Playtomic account, they may be directed to a Virgin Active Padel club for support.

6. Important Public Campaign Conditions

• Members who join Virgin Active in August on any of the above Public Campaigns may not transfer their membership to another benefit, such as Vitality or Momentum, within 6 months of joining.
• Members who wish to transfer their membership within 6 months should join the Public to Vitality or Public to Momentum membership type with no promotion. In this case, a member joining in August may transfer their membership type within 6 months.
• A member cannot take advantage of more than one new joiner campaign within a 12-month period.

7. U14, Club-V & Club-V Max Offers

Join between 1 August 2026 and 31 August 2026 and receive:

• No joining fee.
• No access device fee.
• No August pro-rata.
• Rest of August on us, meaning complimentary August access.

Plus:

• Qualify for additional adult dependent and child gym benefits with Vitality and Multiply, where applicable.

8. Club-V Complimentary Visits: Bring Your Child

Between 1 August 2026 and 31 August 2026, parents or legal guardians may bring children for two free visits.

Conditions

• Children aged 6 weeks to 13 years: Club-V up to 9 years; Club-V Max up to 13 years.
• Parent or guardian does not need to be a member.
• On arrival: complete guest register and disclaimer; present ID, driver license and proof of guardianship; sign child in at Club-V.
• Existing members must complete a child disclaimer for each visit.

9. General Conditions

• Membership must be active and authorised in August 2026.
• Only one new joiner campaign benefit applies per 12-month or 24-month contract.
• Members should not cancel within cooling-off or commitment periods if they wish to retain rewards.
• Discounts, wallet credits and voucher benefits apply only while the member is in good standing.
• Offers cannot be exchanged for cash or refunds.
• Facilities vary by club.
• Members are responsible for their own tax advice.
• Rewards, wallet credits and vouchers cannot be combined with other promotions unless expressly stated.
• All benefits apply only if these terms are accepted and met.
• Virgin Active reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate this promotion at any time, subject to applicable law.
