FEBRUARY OFFER CAMPAIGN 1: Join Virgin Active on a 1 year or 2 year membership between 1 and 16 February 2025 (both dates included), meet the requirements and get 75% off for the months of March and April 2025: 

• You sign up for a new 1 year or 2 year membership (including youth 14 – 23 products, and *excluding certain membership products) between 1 and 16 February 2025 (both dates included) and receive February 2025 on us (no pro-rata due for January 2025) get 75% off membership fees for March and April 2025 provided that you:
  1. Download the Virgin Active APP by 28 February 2025, and
  2. Your Virgin Active membership account is in good standing (not in arrears)
  3. You train a minimum of 3 times on separate days, in March 2025 (i.e. three times in each calendar month) during the required period (* see detailed cut off dates below), no training requirements for the month of February 2025.

• Qualifying members will receive 75% discount off March’s 2025 membership fees, plus a chance to receive a 75% discount in April 2025. 
• Members paying their membership fees in full and up front for 12 or 24 months (i.e., not via debit order, i.e. excludes debit order members who pay in advance as well) will receive an additional one month, or two months, of membership for free added to the end of their contract period on condition that they have met the qualifying criteria. 
• * This offer is not available to members joining Virgin Active via Discovery Vitality or Momentum Multiply programmes as they already receive their relevant programme discounts.
• Only applicable to joiners at Virgin Active Clubs in South Africa, not applicable to joiners in Namibia and Botswana, refer to February Campaign #3.

OR FEBRUARY CAMPAIGN #2: Join Virgin Active on a Premier status membership* between 1 and 28 February 2025 (both dates included), plus get 25% off the next 12 months of membership fees (March 2025 to February 2026): 

• If you join Virgin Active on new Premier 1 year or 2 year membership between 1 to 28 February 2025 (both dates included) you will receive 25% discount off on your membership fees from March 2025 to February 2026 provided that you:
  1. Download the Virgin Active APP by 28 February 2025 and
  2. Your Virgin Active membership account is in good standing (not in arrears).
• If   you are no longer in good standing, then the 25% discount falls away entirely and you will be liable for the full membership fees going forward.
  • Not applicable to new members joining on Premier Select or Premier Youth products.
  • No training requirements associated with this offer.
  • This offer is available to wellness and corporate partner members.

FEBRUARY CAMPAIGN #3: Join Virgin Active in Namibia or Botswana, on a 1 year or 2 year membership between 1 and 28 February 2025 (both dates included), meet the requirements and get 75% off for the months of March and April 2025:

• If you join Virgin Active on a new 1 year or 2 year membership between 1 to 28 February 2025 (both days inclusive) in either Namibia at VA Maerua Mall or VA Kleine Kuppe, or in Botswana at VA Airport Junction, receive the rest of the month of February 2025 on us as well as 75% off your March and April 2025 debit order fees if you meet the following criteria:
  1. You join on a new 1 year or 2 year membership OR a Youth 14–23 year-olds between 1 and 28 February 2025 (both dates included); and
  2. 75% of March and April’s fees are on us.
  3. If you are paying cash upfront, then you get an additional month added on to the end of your membership term.
• Club V / Club V Max membership products do not qualify for this offer.
• This offer is not applicable to new joiners in South African clubs.

General clauses applicable to CAMPAIGNS in February 2025, as per the above:

• Pro-rata membership fees will not be payable for February 2025 (i.e. February is on us). 
• No access card / device fees are payable for joiners in January.
• Joining fees are applicable (R199 for public joiners on all clubs except Collection and R599 on Collection club memberships) and R699 activation fee (or lower fee dependant on various factors) for Discovery Vitality members.
• Your first debit order will be for monthly membership fees in respect of March 2025.
• If you have chosen a debit order date that is not the 1^st of the month, then the debit order for the membership fees for March 2025 will run on the specified date in February 2025 as per the membership agreement. 
• The relevant membership needs to be active and authorized on Virgin Active’s membership system in February 2025 by specified date, in order to qualify.
• These offers are not applicable to short term, 3-month, complimentary, Vitality Legacy Club, Virgin Active staff, or tenant memberships. 
• Existing members upgrading to Collection Club status qualify for these offers, as well as, new joiners at Collection Clubs.
• These offers will only apply if the member’s Virgin Active account is in good standing and not in arrears.
• These offers also apply to corporate members where Virgin Active has a workplace wellness partnership in place.
• Your contract must not be cancelled or terminated within the residual cooling-off period, or the initial commitment period stipulated in the membership contract, in order to qualify for the free and / or discounted months. 

Exclusions from these promotional offers as set out in  February campaigns above:

• Except for Collection Club upgrades and conversions, outside of the initial period, no existing member can qualify for these promotions. 
  • These offers are not applicable to members joining via a short term, complimentary, Virgin Active staff, or tenant membership.
  • These offers are excluded from membership conversions of any kind if a member’s prior membership is still within the commitment period of the prior contract. 
  • Members who have had a prior membership at Virgin Active will need to have a clean membership history that was/is in good standing (i.e., no previous or current arrears and/or poor disciplinary record) to qualify for these offers. 
  • If the member has cancelled their Virgin Active membership (for example, but not necessarily limited to, cancellation within the legally permitted cooling-off periods) then they will not be eligible for the free and / or discounted months as specified in these offers.
  • These promotional offers cannot be exchanged for cash or some other rebate.
  • Facilities and group classes may differ from Club to Club.
  • Should a member elect to “freeze” (i.e., suspend) their membership contract while this promotional campaign is running (i.e., from 1 February 2025), the free and / or discounted months will cease and / or will not be carried over.

FEBRUARY CAMPAIGN #5 U14, Club-V and Club-V Max offers for February 2025:

Join Virgin Active on an U14 or Club-V / Club-V Max membership type between 1 and 28 February 2025 (both dates included) and pay no membership fees for February 2025: 

• If you join on an U14 membership type or Club-V / Club-V Max membership between 1 to 28 February 2025 (both dates inclusive) then you will not be required to pay any upfront fees (i.e., no joining fees, no access card / device fees, and no pro rata membership fees) for February 2025 plus receive a free Swim Assessment at participating Clubs.
• This offer is available to all corporate memberships, including Virgin Active’s wellness and/or rewards partners.
• The free Swim Assessment is strictly only at participating Clubs and must be taken up within a month of joining

FEBRUARY CAMPAIGN #6: Virgin Active parents “bring your child to Club-V for 2 free visits”

• Between 1 to 28 February 2025 (both dates inclusive), Virgin Active invites parents and / or legal guardians to bring their child/children to Club-V or Club-V Max for two free visits.
• Parents and /or guardians do not have to be a Virgin Active member.
• Children must be between the ages of 6 weeks to 13 years. 

If the parent or legal guardian is not a current Virgin Active member, then

• Parents or legal guardians arriving at the Club will be required to complete a guest register process for themselves and their child/ren for each visit at the Club.
• Parents must bring their original identity document or driver’s license, plus proof that they are the biological parent or legal guardian of every child with them for each visit at the Club.
• Once inside the club, parents or legal guardians may bring their child/ren to the Club-V facility and will be required to sign them in there.
• Parents or legal guardians will be required to complete a disclaimer for their child/ren upon entering the club, as well as the guest register for themselves.

If the parent is a current Virgin Active member, then:

• Parents or legal guardians who are current Virgin Active members, arriving at the Club, will be required to complete a disclaimer for their child/ren upon club entry.
• Parents must provide proof that they are the biological parent or legal guardian of every child with them for each visit at the Club.
• Once inside the club, parents or legal guardians may bring their child/ren to the Club-V facility and will be required to sign them in there.

FEBRUARY CAMPAIGN #7: Adult, Club-V and U14 offer – Swim Assessment

Join Virgin Active in February 2025 and qualify for a free Swim Assessment: 

• If you join Virgin Active on any membership during the month of February 2025, then you will qualify for a free Swim Assessment conducted by the resident Swim Coach to assess your level of swimming competency and advise on coaching required to improve your swimming level. 
• This offer is available to all new adult members as well as children joining on U18 and Club-V/Club-V Max membership products, only at certain participating Clubs. 
• The resident Swim Coach will contact all new joiners and set up a time for the complimentary appointment and this must be taken up within a month of joining Virgin Active. 
• You will be required to swim (i.e., get into the swimming pool) during this session and the entire session will last around 20 to 30 minutes. This Swim Assessment session can be for the child or the adult member.
