Your health and wellbeing are always our top priority.
The City of Tshwane has informed residents of a water-quality contamination incident affecting certain areas supplied by the Findlay Reservoir, including parts of Pretoria CBD and surrounding areas. As a precautionary measure, Virgin Active has implemented a number of actions within affected clubs to ensure a safe environment for members and staff.
What we're doing:
- All drinking water fountains have been temporarily closed.
- Bottled water is being made available in club for members.
- Additional water treatment measures have been implemented and monitoring has been increased.
- Kauai teams have been informed of the situation and are following the necessary protocols.
We are working closely with the relevant authorities and will continue to monitor updates. Should any further action be required, we will communicate this promptly.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation while this matter is being resolved.
Members may train at any club excluding Collection in this time.
