We would like to share an important update regarding your Pre-2010 Legacy membership at Virgin Active Point Collection.
We recognise that the status of two of your clubs has changed within a relatively short period. As a valued Legacy member, we want to acknowledge the impact this may have had on you and thank you for your continued loyalty.
For this reason, your membership fee will remain at R0 per month throughout 2026 and 2027, provided that you continue to meet Discovery Vitality’s required monthly visit criteria.
From 2028, the applicable standard Collection Legacy membership fee will apply. This rate is currently R499 per month and may be adjusted by the applicable annual CPI increase before 2028.
Your Pre-2010 Legacy membership remains a preferential, usage-based membership administered through Discovery Vitality. Discovery Vitality may cancel the benefit if the required number of monthly visits is not met, so please ensure that you continue meeting the usage requirements communicated to you by Discovery.
Importantly, annual increases on your Pre-2010 Legacy membership are linked to CPI and will not increase above the applicable CPI rate. This protection will continue when the Collection Legacy rate takes effect.
