Wembley Legacy Members

Dear Member,

Did you know that you hold a very special membership?

Your Pre-2010 Legacy membership is administered through Discovery Vitality and offers you preferential membership rates, provided that you continue to meet Discovery Vitality’s required monthly visit criteria.

As this is a usage-based membership, Discovery Vitality may cancel the benefit if the required number of monthly visits is not met. Discovery will have communicated the applicable usage requirements directly to you, and we encourage you to ensure that you continue meeting them.

Depending on where you would like to train, the following membership options are available to you:

• Choose the membership option that suits you

  • Keep training for R0 per month: Choose one standard Virgin Active club (does not include Collection Clubs or Wembley) and continue your membership on a month-to-month basis at R0 per month, provided you meet Discovery Vitality’s monthly usage requirements.  We will transfer you to this club free of charge.
  • Make Wembley your home for approximately R399 per month: Enjoy exclusive access to the new Wembley Collection Urban Club at your preferential Legacy rate.
  • Enjoy Wembley plus Premier access for R499 per month: Train at Wembley and access Premier clubs nationwide, excluding other Collection clubs, all at an exceptional Legacy rate of R499 per month.

Should you prefer to retain your R399 monthly fee following a change in your club’s status, you may transfer your home membership to another standard club. In this instance, your nearest standard club would be Virgin Active Foreshore.

While Virgin Active may change a club’s status following a significant upgrade, your Pre-2010 Legacy membership remains protected. Any annual increase applied to your preferential Legacy rate will remain linked to CPI and will not increase above the applicable CPI rate.
