We would like to inform you that the 2026 OUTsurance Gun Run event will take place on Saturday, 12 September and Sunday, 13 September 2026.
The event will begin at:
- Saturday, 12 September: 7am
- Sunday, 13 September: 6:30am
To facilitate the event, Fritz Sonnenberg Road will be closed to the public from approximately 3am on both days. As a result, traffic congestion and delays can be expected when travelling to and from the club. Affected roads are expected to reopen progressively as the event moves through the area, with full reopening anticipated between approximately 10:30am and 11am on both days.
Virgin Active Point members will be able to access the club via Link Road and Bill Peters Boulevard. Members travelling to the club are encouraged to approach the area via Helen Suzman Boulevard where possible. Traffic management measures will be in place to assist with access to the area during the event.
We encourage members to:
- Allow additional travel time when visiting the club.
- Follow all traffic management measures and directional signage in place.
- Plan your route in advance where possible.
