Dear Member,
We would like to inform you that construction work on a neighbouring property adjacent to Virgin Active Glenvista is scheduled to commence on Monday, 7 September 2026, and is expected to continue for approximately three months.
Unfortunately, due to the timing of the final arrangements, we apologise for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause.
During the construction period, members may experience increased dust, noise and vibration in and around the club. In addition, there will be some temporary changes to access and traffic flow as measures are implemented to ensure the safety of our members, visitors and team members.
Key changes will include:
- A one-way traffic route around the club to help manage increased vehicle movement.
- A flagman on site to assist with traffic control and member safety.
- The relocation of the club's boom gate and guard house, which will temporarily reduce parking availability by approximately eight parking bays.
- Increased construction-related activity on the shared access ramp throughout the project.
While the construction team has committed to working with us to minimise disruption wherever possible, some impact is unavoidable.
Please be assured that we are working closely with all relevant parties to put the necessary operational, safety, security and member-flow measures in place before construction begins. We will continue to monitor the situation and make adjustments where possible to reduce the impact on your club experience.
As a gesture of appreciation for your patience and understanding during this period, Virgin Active Glenvista members may use any Virgin Active club (excluding Collection clubs) for the duration of the project.
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding as we work to accommodate members throughout the construction period.
