As part of our ongoing commitment to providing you with the best possible wellness and recovery facilities, we would like to inform you that the Unisex Steam Room at Virgin Active Cedar Square will be temporarily closed from 4 August 2026 to 21 August 2026 to undergo a comprehensive refurbishment.
What improvements can you expect?
Once the refurbishment is complete, members can look forward to:
A refreshed, modern appearance
- Brand-new wall, bench and floor tiles will create a cleaner, brighter and more contemporary steam room environment.
Enhanced comfort and hygiene
- New tiled surfaces and improved waterproofing will contribute to a cleaner, more durable facility that is easier to maintain and enjoy.
Improved safety
- The addition of a grab rail will provide extra support and stability for members entering, exiting and using the steam room.
Upgraded amenities
- A new shower head will improve the pre- and post-steam experience, offering greater comfort and convenience.
Better temperature retention and durability
- The new aluminium-framed, double-glazed glass shopfront will help improve thermal efficiency while creating a more premium and aesthetically pleasing finish.
A longer-lasting facility
- The sealing and refurbishment works will strengthen the integrity of the steam room, ensuring a more reliable and enjoyable experience for years to come.
We understand that the temporary closure may cause some inconvenience and sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding while these essential improvements are carried out.
