Qualifying Criteria

Sign up for a new Adult 1-year or 2-year membership (Club, Premier, Premier Select, Off-Peak, Youth 14–23, or upgrade to Collection) between 1–31 December 2025.
Club, Premier Select, Off-Peak, or Youth 14–23 – qualify for the R250 Kauai or Nu Voucher
Premier and Collection joiners – qualify for the R500 Kauai or Nu Voucher
Pay a discounted joining fee:
- R199 at all Clubs (including RED)
- R599 at Collection Clubs
Download the Virgin Active Rewards App and train at least 4 times by the 16^th of January 2026, to qualify for your Kauai / Nu Voucher.
Your membership must be in good standing (no arrears) at the time of the Kauai/ Nu Voucher issue date.

To redeem this offer, download the VA Rewards App and show your unique discount code (click on Rewards to view it) at checkout.
The selected Kauai / Nu voucher can only be redeemed at Kauai or Nu stores inside Virgin Active clubs by scanning the QR code or asking the cashier to manually enter the unique discount code.
The Kauai / Nu voucher is valid for 2 months from issue date.

Kauai and Nu Vouchers
Kauai and Nu vouchers are issued as single-use vouchers and will be provided in split denominations of R125 each to support easier redemption. For example, a R250 voucher will be issued as 2 × R125, and a R500 voucher as 4 × R125.
If a voucher does not cover the full value of the purchase, members may use any other accepted payment method to pay the outstanding balance. Where the voucher value is less than the total purchase amount, the full value of the voucher will be redeemed, and no change, credit, or remaining balance will be carried over.

Access for Clubs Without Kauai: For members whose home club does not have a Kauai, Virgin Active will allocate single-use guest passes in the app (excluding Collection Clubs), allowing members to enter an alternative Virgin Active club to redeem their voucher.

Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, and no change will be given.
The unique voucher code is non-transferable.
The member whose name appears on the voucher must be the payer and redeemer of voucher.
The R500 voucher can be applied on all smoothies and food but does not apply to snacks or bottled drinks sold in Kauai or Nu.
The full voucher value must be redeemed at once; no change will be given for unused amounts.
The offer cannot be used with the Kauai App or any other promotion, discount, voucher, or delivery service (e.g. Uber Eats or Mr D).
Kauai/Nu and Virgin Active staff are not eligible to redeem this promotional offer or combine it with staff discounts.
The Kauai/Nu menu may vary by store. Members may only redeem menu items available at the specific store they are visiting.
Kauai/Nu cannot be held liable for unredeemed vouchers due to expiry, loadshedding, or any POS/internet connectivity issues.
Kauia/Nu voucher are valid for 2 months from the date of issue.
R250 and R500 value includes VAT
Kauia/Nu voucher is valid within South Africa and includes Kauai and Nu branches located inside Virgin Active clubs. Also includes Namibia and Botswana – Rewards will be available in app in December 2025).

Exclusions applicable to December ’25 Public

This offer is not available to:

Existing members or membership conversions of any kind.
Members who were active within the last 30 days.
Virgin Active Point members (separate offer applies).
Short-term (3-month), Club-V, Dependant, complimentary, Vitality Legacy Club, staff, nominee, or tenant memberships.
Members with unsettled arrears or disciplinary issues.
Members downgrading, upgrading (except Collection Upgrades) or converting to any other membership type (including Corporate Conversions).
Members Joining on the Public to Vitality Membership Type / Vitality + Momentum Type.
Members joining on Vitality Membership Benefit.
Members joining on Momentum Multiply Membership Benefit.
New members may not downgrade their membership price point (e.g. move from a public to a corporate or wellness membership) within the first 6 months of joining. This exclusion applies from 1 August 2025.

Joiners on Club-V/Club-V Max or U14 products (0 – 7 and 8 – 13 years) are excluded from these offers.

Discovery Vitality Joiners (December 2025)

Activation fee: Equal to first month’s membership fee on chosen club or premier membership type.
Up to 75% off monthly membership fees through Discovery Vitality.

General Conditions applicable to December ’25 Public and Vitality Offer

Public Offer: Valid for new members only at Virgin Active Clubs in South Africa, Namibia, and Botswana.
Vitality Offer: Valid for new members only at Virgin Active Clubs in South Africa.
Membership must be active and authorised in December 2025.
No multiple campaign benefits: members may not participate in more than one new-joiner campaign within their initial 12- or 24-month period.
Members must not cancel within their cooling-off or initial commitment period to retain the discount.
Discounts apply only while your account is in good standing.
Offers cannot be exchanged for cash, refunds, or rebates.
Club facilities and class offerings vary by location.
Youth members who join in December will keep their 2025 rate through 2026 while eligible for their membership type. On their birthday, the applicable 2026 rate for their new age category will automatically apply.
Your quoted 2025 rate remains applicable in 2026, no price increase is applied unless upgrading, downgrading or your club has a revamp during this time in which case the members price point will go up to the current rate for that membership type.
If a member freezes their membership from 1 January 2026, discounted months will not apply and when coming out of freeze state, the rate lock will apply to membership fees remaining in 2026 only.

Virgin Active December Access Offer – Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

This offer applies to all active Virgin Active members as at 30 November 2025, whose memberships remain in good standing from date of joining to the 31 December 2025.
Members must be authorised and active on the Virgin Active membership system to qualify.

2. Access Rules (1–31 December 2025)

Eligible members may train at any Virgin Active Club in South Africa, Botswana or Namibia, except Collection Clubs.
Access will be granted automatically when using the VA App Club Access QR code.
Off-Peak members may also visit any Club (excluding Collection Clubs), but only during Off-Peak hours.
New members who join from 1 December 2025 will receive Premier access for the rest of December (1–31 December 2025).

3. Exclusions

This offer does not apply to:

Short-term memberships
3-month contracts
Complimentary memberships
Virgin Active staff memberships
Tenant memberships

4. General

This promotional offer cannot be exchanged for cash or any other benefit.
Facilities, equipment and group class schedules may vary by Club.

U14, Club-V, and Club-V Max Offers

Join Virgin Active on an U14, Club-V, or Club-V Max membership between 1–31 December 2025 and:

Pay no joining, access-device, or pro-rata fees for November.
Receive a complimentary swim lesson at participating Clubs.
Offer available to all corporate and wellness partner members.
Complimentary swim lessons must be completed within one month of joining.

Club-V complimentary Visits (Bring Your Child)

Between 1–31 December 2025, parents or legal guardians can bring their children to Club-V or Club-V Max for two complimentary visits.

Conditions:

Children must be 6 weeks to 13 years old. Club-V facilities – 6 weeks to 9 years and Club-V Max facilities – 6 weeks to 13 years.
Parents/guardians do not need to be Virgin Active members.
On arrival, parents must:
- Complete a guest register and disclaimer for each visit.
- Present an ID or driver’s licence and proof of legal guardianship.
- Sign children in at the Club-V facility.
Current Virgin Active parents must also complete a child disclaimer on each visit.

Complimentary Swim Lesson (All New Joiners)

All new joiners in December 2025 (adult or child) qualify for a complimentary Swim lesson:

Conducted by the resident Swim Coach at participating Clubs.
Complimentary lesson lasts 20–30 minutes and includes a short in-pool session.
Must be booked and completed within one month of joining.
The coach will contact you to arrange the session.
