Virgin Active Roodepoort Phase 2 Refurb Update

Work commences on 17 February 2025. 

Here’s what’s coming your way:

• Iconic GRID space for signature HIIT, GRID and Strength & Conditioning classes.
• Upgraded Kauai café to fuel those epic wellness goals of yours.
• Souped-up KIDS space for little ones to work off all that energy.
• Buzzing co-working space with meeting rooms, because offices are so 2019.
• Sparkling new pool and Aqua pool for water-babies young and old.
• New and improved locker rooms and toilets.   

With all these exciting upgrades, there will be disruptions to your Roodepoort experience. Here’s how you’ll be impacted:

·       17 February to 14 March - The lap and aqua pools will be closed

·       21 March to 30 May - Boxing Studio & Grid Floor will be closed

·       24 March to 2 May - Club-V will be closed 

·       7 April to 2 May - Kauai will be closed 

·      7 April to 5 May - Men's and ladies changerooms will be closed 

Please be aware that the club will need to close completely for a very limited time period to facilitate these upgrades. We will share more information and the exact dates with you closer to the time.

While we’re doing everything we can to stick to these dates, things can change. Please keep checking the link or keep an eye on in-club posters for the most up-to-date info.

We know that your exercise and wellness goals don’t have time for breaks, so we’re giving you open access to any other club (excluding Collection clubs) during this time.

Our goal with these upgrades is to elevate your Virgin Active experience, ensuring we create holistic spaces and experiences that enhance your wellness journey with us.
