We’re pleased to share that significant progress has been made in restoring the cooling infrastructure that supports our air-conditioning system. Cooling Tower 7 has been fully refurbished and commissioned, and Cooling Tower 8 is nearing completion, with final ducting work expected to be wrapped up by the end of the week. These upgrades will help deliver a cooler, more consistent environment for your training and recovery.
While the cooling towers are externally owned and maintained, we continue to work closely with the landlord and municipal stakeholders to ensure all remaining work is prioritised. In the meantime, we remain committed to your comfort and have
implemented several in-club initiatives to support you during this period:
- Strategically placed fans to improve air circulation
- Ongoing monitoring to adjust and enhance comfort where possible
- Iced water stations and cold towel service available throughout the club
As part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining high standards, we’ll also be conducting shower floor repairs over the coming weekends:
- Men’s Showers: Night work on 31 October and 1 November.
- Ladies Showers: Scheduled for 7 and 8 November.
Six showers will remain open, with sections safely partitioned throughout the Men’s and Ladies scheduled shower maintenance.
