Winback campaign June 2022 Terms and Conditions

Select ex-Virgin Active members, re-join Virgin Active from 1 June 2022 to 30 June 2022, pay zero joining fee, get the rest of June on us and receive 3 months on us at the end of your 12 or 24 month membership initial period, plus get 30 Days of smoothies from Kauai:

  • Select re-joiners who have received an email from Virgin Active regarding this offer (hereinafter referred to as “members”) taking up a Virgin Active membership from 1 to 30 June 2022 (both dates inclusive), in terms of an adult 1 or 2 year membership will:
    • Pay Zero Joining Fee
    • get the rest of June 2022 on us (no pro-rata fee due)
    • and get 3 months at no charge after the initial 12 or 24 month membership initial term has been reached, i.e. months 13,14,15 will be at no charge for a 12 month membership and months 25,26,27 will be at no charge for a 24 month membership.
    • And receive the prevailing June sales campaign offer of 30 Days of smoothies from Kauai.
  • In addition, if the members spouse joins up at the same time, they pay zero joining fee, the rest of June on us and they do not pay fees in respect of 2022. The spouses first debit order will be in respect of fees due for January 2023 and receive the 30 Days of smoothies from Kauai offer. The spouse does not get the additional 3 months free post their initial period.
  • The members’ first debit order deduction for membership fees will be in respect of July 2022.
  • This offer includes members taking up Collection Club membership and existing members upgrading to Collection Club status.
  • This promotional offer includes all Virgin Active Clubs in Namibia and in Botswana.
  • No Access card / device fees will be charged in June 2022 for new joiners.
  • The membership needs to be active and authorized on Virgin Active’s membership loading system by no later than 30 June 2022 in order to qualify.
  • This offer is also available to Members joining via one of Virgin Active’s wellness and/or rewards partners who are required to pay the applicable activation fees at Virgin Active at the time of joining (refer to specific Ts and Cs applicable to Vitality members).
  • For U18s and Club-V, refer to the specific offer available to them in June 2022.

  • New members taking up a Virgin Active membership from 1 to 30 June 2022 (both dates inclusive), in terms of an adult 1 year Vitality membership, pay zero activation or access card / device fees in June 2022, get July on us and only start paying membership fees in respect of the month of August 2022.
  • and get 3 months at no charge after the initial 12 month membership initial term has been reached, i.e. months 13,14,15 will be at no charge.
  • No June 2022 pro-rata membership fees are payable, nor are membership fees applicable for July 2022.
  • And receive the prevailing June sales campaign offer of 30 Days of smoothies from Kauai.
  • In addition, if the members spouse joins up at the same time, they pay zero activation fee, the rest of June on us and they do not pay fees in respect of 2022. The spouses first debit order will be in respect of fees due for January 2023. The spouse does not get the additional 3 months free post their initial period.
  • No access card / device fees are payable for joiners in June 2022.
  • The members’ first debit order deduction will only be for fees in respect of August 2022.
  • This offer includes members taking up Collection Club membership and existing members upgrading to Collection Club status.
  • The membership needs to be active and authorized on Virgin Active’s membership loading system by no later than 30 June 2022 in order to qualify.
  • Subject to confirmation of valid Discovery Vitality membership.

Exclusions from these promotional offers:

  • With the sole exception of the abovementioned upgrade to Collection Club status, these offers do not include: (i) intergrades (i.e. upgrades, downgrades and/or interclub transfers), or (ii) any changes occurring within the same/existing membership contract.
  • These offers are not applicable to members joining via a short term, complimentary, Virgin Active staff or tenant membership.
  • All Junior Memberships (e.g. Under 18 and Club V / Club V Max membership products) will not qualify for these offers.
  • These offers are excluded from membership conversions of any kind if a member’s prior membership is still within the commitment period of the prior contract.
  • Members who have had a prior membership at Virgin Active will need to have a clean membership history that was/is in good standing (i.e. no previous or current arrears and/or poor disciplinary record), in order to qualify for these offers.
  • If the member has cancelled their Virgin Active membership (for example, but not necessarily limited to, cancellation within the legally permitted cooling-off periods) then they will not be eligible for the free months.
  • Also if the member cancels their membership within their initial period, the spouse will lose their free months remaining in 2022 and any free months issued will become due by the spouse to Virgin Active.
  • These promotional offers cannot be exchanged for cash or some other rebate.
  • Facilities and group classes may differ from Club to Club.
  • Should a member elect to “freeze” (i.e. suspend) their membership contract while this promotional campaign is running, the free month will not be carried over.
