Are children required to wear masks?

Children will be required to wear masks according to the guidelines outlined by The Department of Co-Operative Governance, 28 February 2021, Government Gazette No. 44201.

Children under the age of 6 years, will not be required to wear a mask. Children 6 years and older, will be required to wear a mask.

Our objective with this approach, is to keep our kids as safe and comfortable as possible, so will always be encouraged to remain 2m apart, whether wearing masks or not, or participating in activities.
