Virgin Active Referal Campaign T&Cs

EXISTING Virgin Active members refer a friend who joins from 1 January to 31 March 2022 and receive a lucky prize as well as stand in line to win one of 5 grand prize holiday experiences worth R50 000 each:

  • EXISTING Virgin Active members who refer a friend that joins between 1 January 2022 to 31 March 2022 (both dates included), win a lucky draw prize and if 3 referred friends join in this period then the referring member will stand in line to win one of 5 x holiday experiences worth R50 000 each.
  • Lucky draw prizes for each new member joining vary from Club to Club and are stock dependant.
  • The 5 x grand holiday experience prize winners will be announced at the end of April 2022 and one winner per region will be announced, as per the 5 regions covering Virgin Active Clubs namely, Cape (including Namibia), KZN, Gauteng North (including Botswana), Gauteng South and Gauteng Central.
  • There is no limit to the number of friends that the existing member can refer and therefore the member can win unlimited prizes in this referral campaign.
  • Details of the 5 x holiday experiences will be shared with the winners.
  • Existing members are defined as members who have an active membership approved and showing on the Virgin Active member base as at 31 December 2021.
  • Existing members can refer a friend by the following means:
  • Scan the QR Code on in-Club posters and complete details on landing page
  • Visit http://virg.in/refer-a-friend to complete referral link
  • Enquire at Club reception or speak to a Sales Consultant
  • The referred friend must join up on a 1- or 2-year Virgin Active adult membership, i.e. no U18s (excluding Youth 14-17 membership) and no Club-V joiners will count towards entries into the draw for the existing member.
  • Exclusions: This offer is not applicable to short term, 3-month, complimentary, Virgin Active staff or tenant memberships.
  • This offer will only apply if the referring existing member’s Virgin Active account is in good standing and not in arrears.
  • This campaign is applicable to existing members who are members in South Africa, Namibia and Botswana.
  • The new member’s contract must not be subsequently cancelled or terminated within the residual cooling-off period or the initial commitment period stipulated in the membership contract, in order for the referring member to qualify for the prize draw.
  • The existing member’s membership contract must not be terminated or cancelled, otherwise the benefit of this campaign will immediately fall away.
  • This promotional offer cannot be exchanged for cash or some other rebate.
  • The new member will be asked to confirm at point of sale that they were referred by the existing member and asked to complete a referral confirmation to this effect.
  • Once a new member has joined, no subsequent claims of a referral for this member will be honoured.
