Stand a chance to win the experience of the year to watch The Springboks vs. The All Blacks LIVE!
- Virgin Active App Members who train between 15 July 2024 and 11 August 2024 (both days inclusive) (“the Competition Period”) will go into a lucky draw and stand a chance to win 2 (Two) tickets for a VIP experience of The Springboks vs. The All Blacks live at the DHL Stadium in Cape Town on 7 September 2024.
- The prize will include:
- 2 (Two) general standing tickets to The Springboks vs. The All Blacks at the DHL Stadium in Cape Town on 7 September 2024 for you and your chosen friend/partner/family member (“your Friend”);
- 1 (One) suite (i.e., one room) accommodation in Cape Town arranged and paid for by Virgin Active from 5 September 2024 to 8 September 2024 (both days inclusive) for you and your Friend to share;
- A meet-and-greet with a few of The Springboks players for you and your Friend;
- 2 (Two) official Springboks rugby jerseys;
- R10,000 (Ten Thousand Rand) spending money, in total;
- 1 (One) additional autographed official Springboks jersey;
General Competition Terms and Conditions:
- Each Virgin Active Member who meets the below-mentioned participation criteria will have the opportunity to gain one single entry each week of the Competition Period simply by training a minimum of twice a week (Monday to Sunday) for minimum of 30 minutes. A maximum of one (1) visit is counted per day.
- From midnight on 15 July 2024 until 23h59 on 11 August 2024 (i.e., during the Competition Period):
- Members who obtain their weekly reward by training a minimum of twice a week, will be able to select 1 (One) entry into the lucky draw from their weekly rewards benefits pool via the App.
- Members who achieve their sprint reward, will be able to select 3 (Three) entries into the lucky draw as their sprint reward via the App.
- The participation criteria are as follows:
- You must be a Member of Virgin Active
- You must have downloaded the Virgin Active App;
- You must be 18 (Eighteen) years old or older and live in South Africa;
- You must have earned a weekly reward or sprint reward via the App.
- Food, transport and other expenses are excluded. The prize does not include any food, beverages, transport to and from the DHL Stadium, or any other expenses incurred by yourself or your Friend at all.
- The lucky draw winner will be drawn by Virgin Active whose decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into or entertained, at all.
- The winner will be contacted via email directly by 12h00 on 16 August 2024.
- If the email address is not valid, Virgin Active will make 3 (Three) attempts to contact the winner. All attempts to contact the winner will be made by email or phone and any other means of contact that Virgin Active has available at the time. If there is still no response from the winner, then Virgin Active will be compelled to pick a new winner. The subsequent winner will then be contacted in the same manner, and so on.
- This prize may not be transferred, substituted, on-sold or exchanged for cash.
- All participants’ personal information will be processed in accordance with prevailing South African data protection legislation, as well as in accordance with Virgin Active’s Privacy Policy (available on the Virgin Active website).
- No prize will be awarded to any person to whom such prize may not be legally awarded including, but not limited to, minors under the age of 18 (Eighteen) years. For avoidance of any doubt, you and your Friend must be 18 (Eighteen) years old or older at midnight on 15 August 2024.
- The Competition may be terminated or extended at any time by Virgin Active at their discretion or if circumstances arise outside our control. In the event of such termination, all participants agree to waive (give up) any rights they may have in terms of this Competition and acknowledge that they have no claim of any kind against Virgin Active, their participating partners or their promotional agents.
- The prize may not be awarded if the participation criteria or these terms and conditions have not been adhered to or if Virgin Active detects and/or suspects any irregularities or fraudulent practices.
- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
