Important information regarding Virgin Active Claremont Cycle Studio

Dear Cycle Member,

 

We wanted you to be the first to know …  Virgin Active Claremont is about to undergo an exciting refurb to improve our wellness offering to you. To make space for these new and exciting changes, some things unfortunately have to give. As a regular Cycle member, you’ll be impacted by these changes, so we wanted to chat to you first.

 

As we transition towards becoming a social wellness club, we’re introducing some world-class experiences and spaces.

 

New Additions and Enhancements:

  • New Co-Working Space
  • New Kauai Space
  • Hot Yoga
  • Reformer Pilates
  • Swimming Pool Refurbishments, including a new swimmers' stretch area
  • Grid Offering (Strength and Conditioning Studio)
  • Lift Club
  • Ice Bath

 

Spin/Cycle Classes:

To make space for these global experiences, we had to make the difficult decision to close our Cycle studio. While we recognize that Natali and Nikola's classes are almost always full, most classes are well under capacity and the space is not being used to its full potential.  In place of the Cycle studio, we’re introducing a brand new GRID studio which will give many more members the opportunity to participate in a unique exercise experience.

 

This decision was not made lightly and we understand it may be disappointing for many of you. We apologise for any inconvenience, however, we believe you will enjoy the new classes and wellness options that will be available. We are committed to providing diverse and engaging experience for all our members.

 

We will be replacing our current spin/cycle classes with the new Technogym Ride bikes. These bikes offer enhanced performance tracking, personalised training programmes, and a more immersive and engaging riding experience.

 

Support:

We know that this is a significant change and may be a disappointment to you and our spinning community. As we know that you will be personally impacted by this change, we wanted to bring it to your attention first, and open the lines of communication for your feedback and suggestions. We’re here to support you. To ensure a smooth transition, we’ll soon provide training on the new equipment and offerings. Please feel free to reach out to me personally to discuss the best options available to you. 

 

Our goal with these upgrades is to elevate Virgin Active and enhance our wellness offering, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the industry. We’re really excited about the amazing improvements that we have planned for Claremont and know you will benefit from the overall upgrades. We appreciate your cooperation as we embark on this exciting journey together.
